Drywall and framing is now complete on all floors through out the building. The plumber has finished all rough plumbing. All rough electrical work is installed on residential floors and permanent power is in the building. Cabinets and flooring are installed on most floors. The building has passed all rough inspections with the city. The exterior is completely enclosed with all windows and patio doors installed. The Mason has finished major work on the faade and has minor detailing left to complete.

The exterior of the building is really starting to come together with the Mason working on large portions of the brick and stone faade on Stanley Avenue, Oak Park Avenue, 32nd Street, and the west elevation. Nearly all the windows and patio doors are installed around the building, paving the way for dry wall and taping to progress through out the 2nd and 3rd floors. The city has completed rough inspections up to the fourth floor. Landscaping work is complete around Harris bank and Grove Street. Cabinetry has been delivered for units on the 2nd floor.

The building superstructure has reached its full height with a formed roof. A topping off party was held for the subcontractors to celebrate the superstructure completion. The carpenter has completed most rough layouts and framing through out the building. Final parking garage and entrance ramp concrete pours have cured. Plumber is working through out the building on waste, vent, and water line layouts. The 2nd floor has passed water piping tests and rough inspections by the City. HVAC contractor has completed 2nd and 3rd floor layouts including ductwork and gas piping.

08.12.08
Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection are all now on site and moving upward from the second floor. Precast and Steel contractors have finished all major aspects of their scope but still have detailing to complete. The canopy is complete and has been successfully turned over to Harris bank for operation. Overall Century Station is moving successfully toward project completion.

07.22.08
The month of June saw much progress with precast plank, steel, and core masonry reaching the fifth and final floor. The precaster is finishing detailing, grouting, and welding of the planks. Structural steel is almost completely installed and forming the roof of the building. The mason is toward the end of elevator and stairwell CMU installation. Carpentry and Plumbing have begun their interior layouts on the first through third floors. The final concrete pour on the plaza deck has been completed.

06.15.08
Significant progress is taking place on the building superstructure and surrounding site at Century Station. The framing and pouring of concrete footings at the base of the site is complete. Plaza deck shoring and construction is near completion. Structure steel and pre-cast concrete is now assembled up to the 3rd floor. Masonry for the Harris bank drive thru canopy is finished and the drive thru lanes are turned over to Harris bank.
